Green Beans with Bacon & Feta

Gotta get them greens - so why not do it with a little style! Our #JustDelicious Green Beans are in no way boring and they’ll have you coming back for more.

Serves: 4



200 g

Eskort Rindless Streaky Bacon, cut into pieces

15 ml


500 g;

green beans, topped and tailed


cherry tomatoes, halved

100 g

feta cheese, crumbled

100 g

flaked almonds

60 ml

olive oil


lemon, juiced




ground black pepper


  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add green beans and cook for 5 minutes (you want to retain that bright green colour and keep beans crunchy).

  • Drain immediately and set aside to cool.

  • In a frying pan, heat butter and fry bacon until crispy, remove bacon from pan and set aside.

  • In the same pan, add tomatoes and fry until skin is blistered, remove from pan and set aside.

  • In a small frying pan, toast your almond flakes until aromatic and just browning. Remove from heat and set aside.

  • To assemble your dish, toss together the green beans, bacon, tomatoes, feta and flaked almonds.

  • Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

  • Toss to coat well and serve.

  • This dish is great as a light lunch or dinner but can also be used as a side salad.
