Sticky Pork Stir-Fry

Sticky, sweet and still safe for summer - this Pork Stir Fry will have you drooling on the lips and add no inches to those hips!

700 g

Eskort Fresh Pork Fillet


red chilli, finely sliced

2 cm

fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced

1 clove

garlic, finely sliced

15 ml

fish sauce

75 g

brown sugar

10 ml

sesame oil




spring onions, sliced

250 g

brown rice (or wild rice)


sesame oil, for frying


spring onions, finely sliced, to garnish


red chilli, de-seeded and sliced, to garnish


sesame seeds, to garnish


  • Slice the pork fillet into slices and place in a bowl.

  • Mix the red chilli, ginger, garlic, fish sauce, brown sugar and sesame oil together in a bowl to make a marinade.

  • Pour the marinade over the sliced pork fillet and cover, set aside to marinade for 1 - 2 hours (the longer you leave it the better).

  • Heat a little sesame oil in a large frying pan (or wok if you have one) over a high heat and stir-fry the pork in batches until browned all over (reserve the marinade).

  • Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.

  • Turn the heat right down and add a little more oil, add the carrots and spring onions and cook over a low heat for 2 minutes until just starting to soften. Add the leftover marinade and stir everything together.

  • Cook rice according to package instructions.

  • Serve rice with pork and carrots and a generous helping of the thickened sauce.

  • Garnish with fresh spring onion and red chilli slices and a sprinkling of sesame seeds.
