Eskort Fresh or Smoked Pork Neck

naartjies (zest & juice)

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. Brown the pork neck on all sides in an oven-proof pot. 

  3. Add the milk, then add the sage, thyme and butter. Stir together.

  4. Zest the 4 naartjies into the pot and then squeeze the juice in as well.

  5. Cover in baking paper and then tinfoil and bake for 2 hours.

  6. Once done you can pull the pork apart and drizzle in the juice from the pan.

  7. Serve in tacos, wraps or on pizza!
