Amarula Salted Crunchies

Ingredients:

 

500 g

Eskort Minced Bacon, fried

60 ml

Amarula

500 ml

rolled oats

250 ml

dessicated coconut

250 ml

sugar

250 ml

flour

1 pinch

salt

5 ml

bicarbonate of soda

80 ml

melted butter

45 - 75 ml

golden syrup

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. Mix the oats, coconut, flour, sugar, salt and bicarbonate of soda together in a mixing bowl.

  3. Mix the syrup into the melted butter and add to the dry ingredients.

  4. Last fold in the bacon and Amarula.

  5. Press into a greased, rectangular baking tray and bake for 20 - 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
